1 Agreement Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MAVORA's website, travel booking services, tour packages, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). MAVORA is a Sri Lanka-based travel company specializing in luxury tours, private transfers, and customized travel experiences.

By booking a tour, making a reservation, or using any of our Services, you enter into a legally binding agreement with MAVORA. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2 Booking & Reservations

When you book a tour or travel package with MAVORA, the following terms apply:

• Accurate Information: You must provide accurate and complete information including names (as shown on passport), contact details, travel dates, and special requirements.
• Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Sri Lanka.
• Visa Requirements: It is your responsibility to obtain necessary visas and travel documents. MAVORA can provide assistance but is not responsible for visa approvals or rejections.
• Price Accuracy: We strive to ensure all prices are accurate, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before or after booking confirmation.

3 Changes & Amendments

Changes to your booking may be requested subject to availability and the following terms:

• Date Changes: Tour dates can be changed up to 30 days before travel, subject to availability. Changes within 30 days may incur additional charges.
• Itinerary Changes: Minor itinerary adjustments can be made during your tour at the discretion of your guide, subject to safety and feasibility.
• Participant Changes: Name changes are permitted up to 14 days before travel. Changes within 14 days may incur administrative fees.
• MAVORA Changes: MAVORA reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, or transportation due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, strikes, political unrest, etc.). Alternative arrangements of equal or greater value will be provided.

4 Services & Inclusions

Tour packages typically include:

• Accommodation as specified in your itinerary
• Daily breakfast (unless otherwise stated)
• Private transportation with English-speaking driver
• Sightseeing and entrance fees as per itinerary
• Services of professional local guides
• Airport transfers on arrival and departure

Tour packages typically do not include:

• International airfare and visa fees
• Lunches and dinners (unless specified)
• Personal expenses, tips, and gratuities
• Travel insurance
• Optional activities not included in itinerary
• Any services not explicitly mentioned in your itinerary

5 Liability & Responsibility

Please note the following regarding liability:

• Third-Party Services: MAVORA acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, tour operators, and other service providers. We are not liable for the acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party providers.
• Force Majeure: MAVORA is not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, weather, political unrest, strikes, pandemics, or government actions.
• Personal Safety: You are responsible for your personal safety and belongings. MAVORA is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
• Health & Medical: You are responsible for ensuring you are physically fit to travel. MAVORA is not liable for medical expenses or health-related incidents during your trip.
• Maximum Liability: MAVORA's maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the tour package.

6 Code of Conduct

By traveling with MAVORA, you agree to:

• Respect local customs, traditions, and religious sites
• Follow instructions from guides, drivers, and tour staff
• Arrive on time for scheduled activities and transfers
• Behave respectfully towards fellow travelers and local communities
• Not engage in illegal activities or behavior that endangers others
• Comply with all local laws and regulations in Sri Lanka

MAVORA reserves the right to terminate your tour without refund if you violate these terms or engage in disruptive, dangerous, or illegal behavior.

7 Intellectual Property

All content on the MAVORA website including text, images, logos, designs, itineraries, and materials are the property of MAVORA and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any content from our website without prior written permission from MAVORA.

8 Privacy & Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

We encourage amicable resolution of disputes. Please contact us first before pursuing legal action.

10 Changes to These Terms

MAVORA reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
